Nassau Passengers To Clear Stateside
August 12, 2006
It
has come to the attention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the US
Preclearance Lounge at the Lynden Pindling Airport in Nassau has closed
temporarily. US officials have said that the closure
is due to problems with the computer systems on which the facility
depends.
Passengers
traveling to the United States from New Providence will have to clear US
Immigration and Customs in the United States until the matter is
resolved.
