Minister Mitchell Meets OAS Officials in Washington

The Honourable Fred Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs on Monday, September 29, 2003, 
held talks in Washington with Mr. Luigi Enauldi, the Assistant Secretary
General of the Organization of American States (OAS)and the OAS Special Envoy
for Haiti, Mr. Terance Todman.  The meeting was held to update The Bahamas on
events in settling the political crisis in Haiti, and for the OAS Special Envoy
to be updated on The Bahamas' continued support for the OAS special mission to
Haiti.
