MITCHELL
TO ADDRESS HISTORIC UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The Minister
of Foreign Affairs the Honourable Fred Mitchell is to address the
historic 60th Session of the United Nations General Assembly
on Thursday morning, 22nd September at 10.00 a.m.
In delivering
the annual address of The Bahamas to the United Nations on behalf of
Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Perry Christie, Minister Mitchell is
expected to further develop the face of The Bahamas in international
affairs and present the country’s position on a wide range of world
issues.
The
country’s address to the United Nations will be available live on the
Internet at www.un.org
and also available for later download.
