KINGDOM OF MOROCCO DONATES TO BAHAMAS HURRICANE RELIEF EFFORT

The Kingdom of Morocco has donated $64,894.07 in Canadian Dollars to The Bahamas to assist with the hurricane relief effort. The donation was in response to a Diplomatic Note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Kingdom of Morocco immediately after the passage of Hurricane Jeanne in September. The cheque was presented to His Excellency Philip Smith, The Bahamas High Commissioner to Canada, on November 12, 2004 by His Excellency Mohamed Tangi, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco.
