The High Commissioner of Malaysia pays an Official Visit to The Bahamas

His Excellency, Zainol Abidin Bin Omar, the High Commissioner of Malaysia, is paying an official visit to The Bahamas from the 30th August to 2nd September, 2005. 

Yesterday, he called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Public Service, the Hon. Fred Mitchell, to present the copie d’usage of his Letters of Commission.

Today,  an official ceremony will take place at Government House, when he will present his Letters of Commission to Her Excellency Dame Ivy Dumont, D.C.M.G., Governor-General of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Immediately following the ceremony, the Governor-General will host a luncheon in his honour.

During his visit, the High Commissioner will also pay courtesy calls on His Excellency Louis Harold Joseph, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti (Dean of the Diplomatic Corps); His Excellency, Li Yuanming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China and Mr. Felix Wilson Hernandez, Chargé d’ Affaires, a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba.
