The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Haiti His Excellency Mr. Herard Abraham conducted a working visit to The Bahamas on Thursday 25^th August, 2005. 

Minister Abraham was visiting The Bahamas for discussions with the Honourable Fred Mitchell in Mr. Mitchell’s capacity as the Chairman of the Caribbean Community’s Council of Foreign And Community Relations (COFCOR) on bilateral and CARICOM issues.   

The Haitian Foreign Minister has carried out similar discussions in other Caribbean capitals.  Mr. Abraham was accompanied by the Haitian Director General of Immigration and that Haiti’s Director of Judicial Affairs.
