The Ambassador of the Republic of France Pays Official Visit to The Bahamas

His Excellency, Francis Hurtut, Ambassador Designate of the Republic of France, is paying an official visit to The Bahamas, from September 20th – 23rd , 2005.
 
On September 21st , he will present the copie d’usage of his Letters of Credence to the Hon. Vincent Peet, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Public Service and Minster of Labour and Immigration.
 
An official ceremony will take place at Government House on Thursday, 22nd  September, when His Excellency will present his Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Dame Ivy Dumont, D.C.M.G., Governor-General of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Immediately following the ceremony the Governor-General will host a luncheon in honour of the Ambassador
.

During his visit, the Ambassador will also pay courtesy calls on His Excellency Louis Harold Joseph, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti (Dean of the Diplomatic Corps), His Excellency John D. Rood, Ambassador of the United States of America and His Excellency, Li Yuanming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China.
