FAO BID FAREWELL
TO THE BAHAMAS
October 15, 2004
Ms. Hannah Clarendon, Representative of the Food and Agriculture
Organization (FAO) to The Bahamas, paid a courtesy call on the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs on Thursday morning, October 14, 2004, to bid
farewell at the end of her three-year term.
She was met by Mr. Philip Miller, Under Secretary for Trade and
Economic Affairs, who thanked her for her invaluable contribution to the
development of Agriculture in The Bahamas
Present at the farewell meeting was His Excellency Godfrey Eneas,
Ambassador of the Bahamas to the FAO.
Later
in the day, Ms. Clarendon was hosted to a farewell luncheon on Paradise
Island by Ms. Camille Johnson, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of
Agriculture and Fisheries. Present at the luncheon were Mr. Michael
Braynen, Director of Fisheries, Mrs. Colleen Nottage, Under Secretary in
the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Philip Miller , Under Secretary,
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Simeon Pinder, Deputy Director of
Agriculture, His Excellency Godfrey Eneas, Ambassador to FAO and other
officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Ministry
