BAHAMAS EMBASSY IN WASHINGTON CLOSES

The Bahamas Embassy in  Washington D.C.  will be closed today and tomorrow, September 18 and 19, 2003, because of the threat of Hurricane Isabel.

Although the offices will be closed, persons seeking consular services during this period should call in to the Embassy, which has an automatic call forwarding system that will be monitored around the clock by Embassy staff.  Also, Ambassador Sears’ home telephone number is 202-244-3805.
