Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with Netherlands envoy

NASSAU, Bahamas - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs the Hon Brent Symonette welcomed His Excellency Mark Johan Kroner, Ambassador Designate of the Netherlands, during a courtesy call at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. The meeting highlighted the common interests between both countries in keeping with United Nation principles of democracy, the rule of law and peace. Mr. Symonette pledged his ministry’s support to the Netherlands at the UN level and in other areas of mutual interests. The ambassador designate said he was delighted to have been appointed to The Bahamas and too promised to foster the "excellent relationship" already between both countries.
