Côte ďIvoire’s Ambassador Designate Presents Credentials

His Excellency, Daouda Diabate, Ambassador Designate of the Republic of Côte ďIviore, is paying an official visit to The Bahamas, from October 14 – 19, 2005.  His Excellency will be accompanied by Mr. Bamba Momadou, Counsellor in charge of Financial Affairs, Embassy of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.

On 17th November, His Excellency, Ambassador Designate to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, will pay a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Public Service, the Hon. Fred Mitchell, to present the copie d’ usage of his Letters of Credence.

During his visit, the Ambassador will also pay courtesy calls on His Excellency Louis Harold Joseph, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti (Dean of the Diplomatic Corps); His Excellency John D. Rood, Ambassador of the United States of America; His Excellency Li Yuanming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China and His Excellency Felix Wilson Hernandez, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba. 

On Thursday 19th, an official ceremony will take place at Government House, when the Ambassador Designate will present his Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Dame Ivy Dumont, D.C.M.G., Governor-General of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Immediately following the ceremony, the Governor-General will host a luncheon in honour of the Ambassador
