CHINA GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP
FOR 2007/2008 ACADEMIC YEAR
The Government of China in conjunction with the Embassy of the
People’s Republic of China in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas has
decided to grant the Bahamian Government with scholarships during
the 2007/2008 academic year.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is now accepting applications for
Chinese Scholarships for studies at the graduate (three to four
years) and undergraduate levels (five years).
All applicants should have a 3.00 or above Grade Point Average
and be willing to study in China. Applicants for the Bachelors
should be 25 years or younger, and those for the Masters should be
45 years or younger.
Scholarship Benefits:
1. Full Scholarship including tuition, room and board,
healthcare, textbooks and living expenses.
2. One year Chinese Language Proficiency Studies in China

All interested persons may collect application forms from the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, East Hill Street, Nassau, Bahamas.
The deadline for submission of applications for the scholarship
to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is 10th March 2007.
All applicants meeting the minimum requirement will be
interviewed by a Pre-Selection Committee in late March 2007.
