PRIME MINISTER CHRISTIE AT CHOGM 2005

The Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Perry G. Christie, left Nassau last night for Malta in the Mediterranean, to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in the city of Valletta. 

The conference, which will run from 25 to 27 November, under the theme, “Networking the Commonwealth for Development” will “bring together Presidents, Prime Ministers and Heads of State to discuss Commonwealth and global issues and develop a consensus on collective policies and initiatives”. 

The Prime Minister is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Public Service, the Honourable Fred Mitchell, the Minister of Tourism, the Honourable Obie Wilchcombe and senior public service officials.
