  British High Commissioner Pays Official Visit
to The Bahamas
   


His Excellency, Jeremy Michael Cresswell, British High Commissioner, is paying an official visit to The Bahamas, from October 3rd – 8th  , 2005.  His Excellency
will be accompanied by Dr. Barbara Munske.
 
On October 3rd, he will call on the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Public Service, the Hon. Vincent Peet, Minster of Labour and Immigration to present a copy of his Letter of Introduction; and on October 7th he will meet with the Deputy to the Governor-General.

During his visit, the Ambassador will also pay courtesy calls on His Excellency Louis Harold Joseph, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti (Dean of the Diplomatic Corps), His Excellency John D. Rood, Ambassador of the United States of America, His Excellency Li Yuanming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Felix Wilson, Chargé ď Affaires, a.i. the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba and Mr. Paul Farquharson, Commissioner of Police.

On Thursday, 6th October, His Excellency will pay a courtesy call on the Right Hon. Perry G. Chistie, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, to present his Letter of Introduction.
