THE AMBASSADOR OF BELGIUM PAYS AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE BAHAMAS

His Excellency, Franciskus van Daele, the Ambassador of Belgium, will be paying an official visit to The Bahamas from the 12th to 18th December, 2004. 

On December 13th, he will call on Her Excellency Dame Ivy Dumont, D.C.M.G., Governor-General of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas; the Right Honourable Perry G. Christie, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and also on the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Public Service, the Honourable Fred Mitchell. 

During his visit, the Ambassador will also pay courtesy calls on His Excellency Louis Harold Joseph (Dean of the Diplomatic Corps), Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti; His Excellency Roderick Gemmell, O.B.E., British High Commissioner and His Excellency John D. Rood, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America.

On December 15, before his departure, His Excellency will make his last call on the Hon. Leslie O. Miller, Minister of Trade and Industry.
