THE
AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF AUSTRIA TO PRESENT
LETTERS OF CREDENCE
December 3, 2004
Her Excellency, Dr. Eva Nowotny, the Ambassador Designate of the
Republic of Austria, will pay an official visit to The Bahamas from the
7th to 10th December, 2004. She will be is
accompanied by Mr. Martin Kraemer, Consul General of the Embassy of
Austria.
On December 8th, she will call on the Minister of Foreign
Affairs and the Public Service, the Honourable Fred Mitchell and Dr.
Patricia Rodgers, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs.
On Thursday 9th, an official ceremony will take
place at Government House, when the Ambassador Designate will present
her Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Dame Ivy Dumont, D.C.M.G.,
Governor-General of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
During her visit, the Ambassador Designate will also pay courtesy
calls on His Excellency Louis Harold Joseph, Ambassador of the Republic
of Haiti, His Excellency Roderick Gemmell, O.B.E., British High
Commissioner, and Mr. Boheng Ni, Chargé d' Affaires, a.i., of the
Embassy of the People Republic of China.
