Official Visit
of Her Excellency Advocate
Faith Doreen Radebe High Commissioner Designate of
the Republic of South Africa to The Bahamas

Her Excellency
Advocate, Faith Doreen Radebe, High Commissioner of the Republic of
South Africa, paid an official visit to The Bahamas on January 23rd
– 26th January, 2007. She was accompanied by her
spouse, Mr. Jabulani Radede.
On Wednesday
the 24th , Her Excellency called on the Minister of
Foreign and the Public Service, the Hon. Fred Mitchell, to present
the copie d’ usage of her Letters of Commission.
An official
ceremony took place at Government House on 25th January,
where Her Excellency presented her Letters of Commission to His
Excellency the Hon. Arthur D. Hanna, Governor-General of the
Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Immediately following the ceremony, the
Governor-General hosted a luncheon in honour of the Ambassador.
During her
visit, the Ambassador paid courtesy calls on His Excellency Louis
Harold Joseph, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti, His Excellency
Yuanming Li, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China and His
Excellency Felix Wilson Hernandez, Ambassador of the Republic of
Cuba.
