High Commissioner of Australia
Pays Official Visit
to The Bahamas
His Excellency, John Stewart Michell, High Commissioner of Australia, is
paying an official visit to The Bahamas, from September 28th
– 30th, 2005.
On September 30th, he will meet with the Hon. Fred Mitchell,
Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Public Service, the Permanent
Secretary, Dr. Patricia Rodgers and Senior Officials of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs.
During his visit, the Ambassador
will also pay courtesy calls on Mr. Paul Farquharson, Commissioner of
Police; Ms. Monique Brooks, Honorary Vice Consul for Canada; Mrs. Eileen
Dupuch Carron, Publisher/Editor, The Tribune; Mr. Anthony Capron,
Editor, The Nassau Guardian; Mrs. Tonya Wright, President, The Bahamas
Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Earl Bethel, President, The Bahamas Hotel
Association; Mr. Wendal Jones, Publisher/Editor, The Bahama Journal and
Colin Dean, President, The Bahamas Cricket Association.
